THE MISSION
This weeks challenge is to use a visual design technique for elearning in which an image is featured at the front of a design and a larger transparent version of the same image is used in the background. In graphic design this is called a back screen.
THE INSPIRATION
I have used this technique before in Photoshop when I did graphic design. I find it works well as a space filler and looks especially great when advertising high-end products, for this reason I decided to use the image of a watch.
THE PROCESS
The process was very simple, I enlarged the watch, skewed it in Photoshop and covered it with a transparent black layer to push it into the background. I added a few navigation buttons and some cool Breaking Bad Lorem Ipsum text that I found here.
THE OUTCOME
Check the finished sample of this simple, but effective technique here.
